ACLU letter:

I just learned about a massive government program to spy on the phone calls of Americans. According to a leaked court document obtained by The Guardian, the U.S. government has been secretly tracking the calls of every Verizon Business Network Services customer — whom they talked to, from where, and for how long — for the past 41 days using the Patriot Act.

Verizon Business Network Services is one of the nation’s largest telecommunications and Internet providers for corporations, so this could apply to the calls of millions of Americans.

What we don’t yet know is how many other telecommunications companies have been issued similar orders by the government or what the scope of the government’s program is.

In 2012, Sens. Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Mark Udall (D-Colo.) wrote, “When the American people find out how their government has secretly interpreted the Patriot Act, they are going to be stunned and they are going to be angry.”

It’s time to get angry. Be part of a strong public outcry against this program by signing the petition immediately:

Broke my pipetman last week. Fortunately, the tip-holder can be replaced for ~20 USD instead of the 335 USD for a new pipetman. I wish I knew they came apart before I freaked out about breaking the cheap plastic piece.

Rainbow Dash is resting her head in Fluttershy’s lap after a busy day of practicing her daring aerobatics.
I drew the sketch on paper and finished it in GIMP 2.8. It’s a double milestone for me: my first pony piece that’s more than a sketch and my first digital piece not made in MS paint.
I’d like to thank Cenk and Ana (and Steve Oh because he’s the best host) because I worked on this while listening to the TYT live-stream. TYT can chalk this up as another thing people do while listening to the live-stream instead of actually watching it.

I know I’m not the only one here with this, but it’d be interesting to see how many other people actually feel the same way.

I’ve seen countless numbers of people say things like “Cupcakes ruined Pinkie for me” or “I can no longer look at X the same way because of Y”

I suppose it’s something that cannot be helped. But honestly, when i watch the show, my mind just seems to block out anything fandom related. Not matter how many times I’ve seen or read about Pinkie being some kind of murderous psychopath, no matter how many times I see Rarity being some kind of sadistic pain monger. I can still watch the show for what it is, A nice, happy, cheerful and cute tv show with bright and colourful ponies.

That’s enough meta for now…I’m sorry D:
